Michael Fabricant opened a new bottling line at Roxane at their plant in Fradley near Lichfield today (24th March).
“Opened just four years ago and bottling local spring water, this joint venture between Britain and France is now the biggest in Europe and is yet another demonstration of post Brexit confidence in the future of our economy. With the opening of the new production line, it will produce 700 million bottles of spring water every year.
“I was delighted to meet the founder of Roxane, 82 year old Pierre Papillaud who had flown over from his home in France. I was able to practice my school boy French. I think he understood a little!” Michael adds.
