An analysis just published by a political charity, They Work for You,
shows that out of 645 MPs, Michael Fabricant was the 569th least
expensive Member of Parliament for 2007/08. This includes staff
salaries, stationery, second home, travel, and other costs. Of the
remaining MPs, most are based within the London area and their travel
costs and housing allowances are correspondingly less.
"I like to think I offer good value for money" says Michael. The
analysis also shows that he was ‘above average’ in contributions to
Parliamentary debates and responded quickly to ‘a very high number of
constituents’ who wrote into him with their problems.
