News Release

3rd July 2010

MICHAEL, WORDS, AND WILLOW

Michael Fabricant joined school children from Ridgeway Primary School in Burntwood at the National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield on Friday 2nd July for a project combining willow weaving and poetry. "This is a project with the 'wow' factor" says Michael. "Created as a community outreach project by Chase Terrace Technology College, it combined the weaving of willow into fantastic shapes including aeroplanes, conkers, and a polar bear with the writing of poetry - all linked to the spirit of remembrance inspired by the location. What a fantastic collaboration between the College and the National Memorial Arboretum."
