Michael Fabricant says: "David Miliband, the Schools Minister, has told me that Chasetown High School has won Sports College status. This is excellent news for the School and I congratulate the Headteacher and staff who put their application together. It will bring valuable extra money to the School which, like all schools in Staffordshire, is short of funds. It will also bring a valuable new resource to the students and to the local community. I am delighted for them!"
