News Release 7th December 2003ABBOTS BROMLEY TO BE BROADBAND ENABLED!Further to the news of 6th December, Michael Fabricant has just learned that Abbots Bromley reached the 'magic' trigger level of 150 on December 1st for interest in broadband. Accordingly, the telephone exchange will be enabled early in 2004. (see graph). Michael Fabricant says: "A month ago I was told by BT that Abbots Bromley was too small for broadband provision. I am delighted that the exchange will now be enabled. A-B suffered badly with foot and mouth disease and broadband will enable small businesses and people working from home to diversify and build international customer contacts".
