WHITTINGTON TO MOVE TO TAMWORTH PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY?

Michael Fabricant has received many letters from residents of the village of Whittington near Lichfield who strongly oppose the County Council's proposals to move the village into the Tamworth Parliamentary constituency.

"I can well understand that villagers do not want to be moved into Tamworth from Lichfield" says Michael Fabricant, their MP. "But it is important that they do not write to me expressing their views, but write - as soon as possible - to the Boundary Commission for England who will make the final decision. The more people who write stating they do not want to move out of the Lichfield Parliamentary constituency giving their reasons, the better."

The address to write to is:-

Alan Bannister
Boundary Commission for England
(Staffordshire Parliamentary Boundaries)
PO Box 31060
London
SW1V 2FF
